Dr. Tecsia Evans is a licensed clinical psychologist, consultant, educator and relationship expert. She has her own consulting practice in Oakland and is chief of adult psychiatric services at Kaiser Permanente Union City, one of the largest and well esteemed hospitals in the nation. For the past 6 years, Dr. Evans has provided individual and couples therapy and has worked collaboratively with corporations, management personnel and church clergy to improve leadership abilities, team moral and organizational structure. Her work encompasses being a media expert in the area of mental health, professional speaker and an educator for clinicians. Her clinical specialties include relationship and couples counseling, anxiety, stress management and Christian therapy. Dr. Evans holds a Bachelor degree in dance and psychology from University of California, Berkeley and a PhD. in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco. She loves spending time with her wonderful husband and children. She considers herself blessed to use her God-given talents to serve others through her work as a psychologist as well as a director for a faith based non-profit that she and her husband co-lead.
